We're seeking a compassionate individual to engage in regular visits with an elderly lady who's feeling isolated.

A simple yet profound gesture of friendship can significantly impact her quality of life. Your presence and company could be the highlight of her day, helping to break the monotony and loneliness she experiences.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a highly rewarding experience, offering a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in someone's life. By sharing stories, listening actively, or simply being present, you can help alleviate feelings of isolation and despair.

To ensure a mutually beneficial relationship, we require volunteers to be 18 years or older, have a National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare, and undergo a Working with Vulnerable people check.

We'd be delighted to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one-hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday. Flexibility is key, and we encourage you to suggest alternative dates and times that suit your schedule.
