We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our team at the Department for Child Protection. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in enhancing the capacity and principles of social work practice within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert advice and guidance to our staff on social work matters, including coaching and mentoring to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct regular reviews of cases to ensure that effective plans are in place and appropriate case management is occurring.
- Provide specialist opinions and recommendations to support Youth Court processes and act as a witness in court proceedings, as well as assisting with the preparation of case conferences, assessments, and reports.
- Contribute to the implementation of continuous quality improvement and policy development initiatives.
We are looking for a confident and experienced individual who has a strong background in social work and case management. You will have the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with people both within government, non-government sectors, and community.
You will have knowledge of social work legislative frameworks, including acts, regulations, and social work/case management theories and methodologies that guide social work practice principles.
You will also have the ability to analyze complex problems and resolve matters that demonstrate reflective practice.
