We are seeking individuals with a professional background in Occupational Therapy interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Orange NSW.

In this diverse role, you will enjoy flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You will have the support of a strong, close team of energetic healthcare professionals with the backing and resources of a global corporate infrastructure. You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of physical and psychological conditions and support them to achieve return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.

Your duties will include:

• Case management with manageable caseloads and support from Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks
• Applying clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes
• Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
• Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
• Working across schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs
• Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes
• Completing a variety of assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities

You'll be a driven and energetic professional with ideally the following:

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA
• Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients and stakeholders
• Compassion, kindness and empathy
• Strong time management skills
• A current NSW Driver's Licence and access to own car with comprehensive insurance
