About the Role:

This position plays a crucial part in fostering meaningful relationships between member organisations and suppliers, ensuring alignment with cultural values and integrity standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing strategic initiatives to support and grow the organisation's Indigenous workforce
  • Collaborating with members to achieve their supplier diversity objectives through training, mentorship, and knowledge sharing
  • Representing the organisation in meetings and events with stakeholders
  • Establishing relationships with potential and current partner organisations in your region
  • Fostering partnerships with government and corporate stakeholders to enhance the capacity of Indigenous businesses

Requirements:

To excel in this position, you will require:

  • Proven understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander societies and cultures
  • Experience working with large corporate organisations and knowledge of government Indigenous procurement policies
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, enabling effective interaction with all levels of business from C-suite to operations
  • Digital competence in tools including Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications
