About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic Pan Chef to join our team in a busy commercial kitchen. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation of ingredients, execute cooking techniques under senior chefs' guidance, and follow established recipes and instructions for the preparation and presentation of dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assembly and plating of dishes to meet established standards.
- Follow kitchen safety rules and guidelines, including the safe use of kitchen equipment and handling of hot items.
About You:
We are looking for someone with a passion for providing excellent customer service and a love of making others feel welcome. As a Pan Chef, you will have a genuine enthusiasm for working as part of a team and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in hospitality, preferably in pans and larder operations, and have worked in high-pressure environments. A Trade qualification - Certificate IV in Cookery, previous experience in a luxury 5-star environment, knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations, strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and strong teamwork and communication skills are also essential.
