Senior Risk Strategist

This is a high-level leadership opportunity that offers a wide scope with exposure to senior stakeholders across the organization, allowing you to expand your professional network and make a significant impact in the risk management landscape.

The role involves leading a team to develop and maintain policy, processes, tools, and reporting to support effective risk identification and management across the organization.

You will work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer and CRO teams to develop and execute a program of work that will review and challenge the effectiveness of risk identification and management.

Key responsibilities include monitoring key risk measures, contributing to the development, maintenance, and approval of risk appetite settings, and drafting risk reporting on risk performance to the organization's management, board, and board committees.

We are seeking an individual with significant leadership experience in an applied risk discipline in banking or financial services. You should have advanced senior stakeholder management and influencing skills, be able to navigate complexity, identify key value drivers, and execute on appropriate strategic choices.

Exceptional people leadership skills and strong communication skills are also essential, including a demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into meaningful insights for senior stakeholders.
