Job Title: Associate Program Director

A dynamic leadership opportunity awaits in our Classification and Coding Service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the service, leading a team of professionals to deliver high-quality coding services while embracing new technologies such as AI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic focus: Assess current team structure and devise a new structure to support staff and the wider business. Identify risks and develop workforce plans to ensure continuity of service. Coach and inspire team members to excel in their roles, assess and implement AI and other technologies to support the coding process.
  • Expertise: Provide expert advice on coding, AR-DRGs, National Funding Model for admitted activity. Ensure compliance with internal and external rules and reporting requirements. Maintain professional relationships to stay up-to-date on latest initiatives.
About You:
  • Tertiary qualification in Health Information Management or equivalent required.
  • Experience in Coding and Casemix data collection and analysis essential.
  • Strategic thinker keen to leverage new technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience managing change in complex environments.
  • An open and collaborative approach to working with others.
