Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Buyer to lead our vision within the Buying team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving category growth and working closely with the Trend team to deliver on strategic initiatives.

You will contribute to department reviews, apply learnings to category decision-making, and pursue growth opportunities to ensure the success and profitability of our brand.

In this role, you will collaborate with Production and support your Buying team to deliver products that align with category strategies and are compliant and cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Buying team to achieve category growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with the Trend team to drive strategic initiatives
  • Contribute to department reviews and apply learnings to category decision-making
  • Pursue growth opportunities to ensure the success of the brand
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualification or degree in a relevant field (e.g., Buying)
  • Demonstrated experience working with production, trends, and buying teams to achieve strategic vision
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach and lead a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders
  • Confidence in analytical skills to make high-impact decisions regarding your category
  • Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills
  • Ability to make confident decisions that determine the success of the brand
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
