A leading insurance provider is seeking a skilled Senior Claims Specialist to join its Casualty/Public Liability team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of casualty claims with or without the support of a Senior and Team Leader
- Providing feedback to underwriters, upskilling and mentoring more junior members, leading training sessions, conducting file reviews, and supporting the Team Leader as a senior
- Assessing coverage and reserves
- Being part of a team that prioritizes work/life balance with flexible working arrangements
- Taking ownership, thinking through issues, and developing strategies for optimal outcomes
- Resolving issues independently, with the Senior and Team Leader available when needed
- Understanding civil claims management principles
