Job Description

We are seeking a Strategic Finance Partner to join our team. As a key member of the finance function, you will play a crucial role in driving financial strategy and partnering with senior leadership.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a Commercial Finance Manager role where you will oversee financial performance, optimize costs, and provide insights that influence key business decisions.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure financial transparency, manage budgets, and enhance cost-effectiveness across core business operations.

As a Strategic Finance Partner, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and presenting financial reports, including variance analysis and performance metrics, to senior leadership.
  • Developing and managing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborating with senior I.T stakeholders to provide financial guidance on key initiatives, investment opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of finance experience, including business partnering and financial analysis.

You will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise and build rapport with senior stakeholders and manage direct reports.

Experience working with large, complex structures and proven ability to meet tight reporting deadlines is essential.

A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset is required.

Advanced financial modelling and data analysis skills, including ERP Systems, Business Intelligence Tools, and Excel, are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership, identifying trends and providing actionable insights to improve profitability and efficiency.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  3. Collaboration and Financial Guidance: Collaborate with senior I.T stakeholders to provide financial guidance on key initiatives, investment opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
  4. Cost Control: Drive cost control initiatives by monitoring expenses, identifying areas for savings, and implementing financial best practices.
  5. Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a direct report, fostering a high-performance finance function.
What We're Looking For

In a candidate, we are looking for someone who is CA/CPA qualified, has strong communication and interpersonal skills, and has experience working with large, complex structures.

A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset is required.
