The role Group Finance play in making the business make better decisions is front and center in our overall success.
We are currently recruiting a high-calibre Finance Business Partner - Technology & Operations to add further strength our Commercial Finance team and make a significant impact in driving plans and performance across the business.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, your role will be to support the Technology & Operations portfolio in planning and shaping the business, providing insights and perspectives that influence strategic outcomes. You will use your commercial finance experience to enhance processes to optimize effectiveness and drive the operating model in a collaborative and authentic way.
You will be a true business partner to the Technology & Operations business, with a focus on:
- Providing end to end finance support delivering financial modelling, providing analysis and advice on key projects and initiatives
- Owning the budget and planning processes and ensuring actual results align to expectations across both capital and operating expenditure
- Review and assist with finalisation of monthly management and financial performance, appropriate to Technology & Operations
- Manage business initiatives with detailed review against budgets and business cases
- Provide guidance and management oversight to processes such as procure to pay, contract governance
- Lead and manage the end-to-end strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting process
- As our business priorities evolve over time, you may also have the opportunity/ requirement to support other products and areas of the business
**Your experience and capabilities**:
This position would suit a Senior Consultant or Senior Commercial Analyst looking at taking the next step in their career including:
- CA/CPA Qualified with 5 years + experience in a Commercial and/or Financial analyst business partnering role (Technology passion highly desirable)
- Strong numerical ability and ability to quickly understand financial impacts of changes in key business drivers, with equal confidence in detailed modelling as quick judgement based back of the envelope estimates
- Commercial Contract / Vendor Management highly desirable
- Demonstrate an ability to build deep and trusted relationships with the business, be an advisor and who can influence, challenge and impact the commercial agenda with
- Be comfortable navigating ambiguity and working flexibly as you may also have the opportunity to support other products and areas of the business
- Proactive mindset and ability to problem solve and able to understand the bigger picture and implications of decisions across the wider organisation
- Degree qualification in Finance CA/CPA or equivalent
- A passion for Entertainment - we’re big believers in knowing the product and knowing the customer
