About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Construction Safety Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our construction projects, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving our safety management system.

You'll conduct desktop and onsite safety audits, drive safe work practices, and collaborate with our project management team to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain construction safety management procedures and guidance materials
  • Review and critique external partner project-specific safety plans and client requirements
  • Participate in High Risk workshops with the project management team
  • Conduct regular onsite inspections to identify and mitigate risks
  • Complete site inspection reports and track corrective actions
  • Manage reporting processes for customer and internal projects

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 10+ years of construction site experience and 5+ years in a safety-focused role
  • Diploma or Cert IV in Occupational Health and Safety
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including consultation, facilitation, and negotiation
  • Well-developed time management and organisational skills
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary package of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as additional benefits, including:
