Job Overview

The Timetabling and Space Planning team at Murdoch University is responsible for delivering high-quality services to support teaching, research, and commercial activities. They strive for efficient use of space and equitable timetables for students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit and Reporting: Conduct accurate space audits and report on space utilization as requested.
  • Timetabling Data Management: Collect, prepare, and verify timetabling data to ensure efficient, effective, and equitable timetabling services in accordance with University Timetable Policy.
  • Communication and Liaison: Liaise with academic and professional staff to produce a timetable within required timeframes and communicate with stakeholders regarding their use of space.
  • Space Planning: Assist the Manager Resource Scheduling in space planning and space changing processes.
  • Process Improvement: Maintain knowledge and skills in the efficient use of timetabling tools and engage in process improvement activities.
  • Reporting and Information: Provide information and reports on timetables and classes to all stakeholders in a timely and knowledgeable manner.
