Gatehouse Security Officer: Perimeter Protection Specialist

At Certis Security Australia, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gatehouse Security Officer to join our team. As a critical member of our security operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' sites.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service, working collaboratively as part of a team, and making a real difference in maintaining the security and integrity of our clients' premises.
Key Responsibilities- Perimeter Protection: You will be responsible for managing access control, monitoring CCTV surveillance, and responding to site alarms to prevent unauthorized access and maintain the physical security of our clients' sites.
- Security Management: You will ensure that all personnel have completed the necessary inductions and have the correct clearance levels before granting them access to the site.
- Communication and Reporting: You will provide daily reports on any incidents, breaches, or other relevant information to our clients and internal stakeholders.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: You will identify potential security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the ongoing safety and security of our clients' sites.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment and mitigation, with a strong understanding of security protocols and procedures.
- Prior experience in staff management and performance management, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An attractive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

- The applicable Security Licence of the State or Territory in which you work and a current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- A current and applicable Drivers Licence (if required for the role).
