About the Role- Location: Various locations across the Townsville region.
- Affordable Level 2 Pay.
- Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities available.
- Weekday and weekend shifts available.
- 4 - 12 hour shifts available.
This role is crucial to our success in the region, supporting our Operations Team and Duty Managers. You will have the opportunity to work in response roles, handling events such as protests and emergency management, with training across multiple locations and a variety of positions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, contractors, and clients.
- Landside security duties, patrols, and maintenance reporting if required.
- Carparking duties - patrols, count equipment checks, issue infringements.
- Gatehouse duties.
- Proactively monitor CCTV and Access Control Systems.
- Conduct building patrols to actively report and mitigate security and safety risks.
- Identify and report hazards and building faults for rectification.
- Provide support to tenants and facilities.
- Manage contractors and deliveries through dock management.
- Respond to emergency situations.
- Contractor management duties.
- Ad-hoc duties.
- Australian Citizen or hold Unlimited Work Rights.
- Valid QLD Security License (including Monitoring Subclass).
- Crowd Control endorsement will be highly desirable.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Strong Customer Service Skills.
- Proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Willing to support and step up as required into other roles.
- Ability to work well in a team or autonomously.
- Ability to work in a rotational roster (Nights/Days/Weekends).
- Previous experience in Corporate Real Estate Contracts (highly desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and write reports.
- Demonstrated ability in the use of Computers and Security-related systems (Access Control, CCTV, Microsoft Programmes).
- Availability to and physical fitness to walk and stand for long periods.
