Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chiller Technician Team Leader to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a team of service technicians in carrying out operational, maintenance, and repair works on commercial chillers and HVAC equipment across Sydney and the surrounding areas.

Your role will involve providing exceptional support to your team, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standard, and maintaining a safe working environment at all times. You will also be responsible for participating in the after-hours standby duty roster, fostering professional working relationships amongst technicians and apprentices, and complying with all safety policies and procedures.

You will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients, including commercial and industrial sites, and will be required to provide technical expertise and support to ensure that all equipment is running efficiently and effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience/exposure to commercial HVAC chillers
  • Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
  • Current restricted Electrical License
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Construction Induction Card (white card)
  • Current ARC Licence
  • Experience in A/C maintenance and Installations of all types
  • Good time management and customer service skills
  • Technical competence
  • Ability and confidence to work alone and in team environment
  • Positive and proactive approach to safety
