Job Title: Commercial Chiller Operations Manager

A highly skilled leader is sought for a commercial chiller operations team working across the Sydney metropolitan area.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating a team of technical professionals to ensure high-quality maintenance, repairs, and commissioning of chiller equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee scheduling, allocation, and performance of service tasks to maximise operational efficiency and minimise downtime.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot system issues as needed.
  • Mentor and develop junior technicians, fostering on-the-job training, knowledge sharing, and career growth.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to manage asset lifecycle activities—from auditing and retrofitting to optimisation and sustainability reporting.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Hands-on experience as a Senior Chiller Technician or in a similar leadership role, with team management and site coordination.
  • A deep understanding of commercial chiller systems and compressors; able to diagnose, service, and optimise multiple types of chiller equipment.
  • A proven background delivering services across various commercial environments.
  • Demonstrated success in mentoring junior staff, strong capability in knowledge transfer and staff development.
  • Excellent customer service, client coordination, and internal liaison abilities, paired with strong organisation and attention to detail.
