Hospital Security Professional

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Security team at Alfred Hospital. As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
About the Role:
- This is a permanent position with part-time and full-time options available.
- You will be responsible for electronic security log management, incident reporting, ID badge and access control functions, and CCTV monitoring.
- The ideal candidate will hold a minimum current Certificate II in Security Operations and possess good communication skills, enthusiasm, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Manage electronic security logs and incident reports.
- Monitor CCTV systems and respond to incidents as necessary.
- Conduct regular patrols of hospital premises.
- Maintain accurate records of security-related activities.
Requirements:
- Certificate II in Security Operations (or higher).
- Current Victorian Security License.
- Working with Children Check.
- First Aid Certificate Level 2 (or higher).
- Experience in site emergency evacuation procedures.
