Job Overview:
As a Support Officer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-level administrative support to our client's operations team. The ideal candidate will be proactive and detail-oriented, ensuring the smooth operation of various tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist in analysing bulk business key performance data and operational metrics.
- Reconcile electricity invoices from energy retailers for both inner and outer harbours.
- Generate and prepare service charges for customers at Kwinana bulk terminal and Kwinana bulk jetty.
- Verify applicable charges in line with established business processes.
- Liaise with customers regarding invoice details, including purchase order requests and monitoring.
- Produce reports detailing customer charges, associated costs, and other relevant data.
- Track and report casual and contractor working hours.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in administrative and customer service roles.
- Strong understanding of financial information and invoicing systems.
- Familiarity with shipping and bulk operations terminology and documentation is desirable.
Technical & Professional Skills:
- Proficiency in PC and spreadsheet applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
- Experience with financial management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
