About the Role

Wärtsilä is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Coordinator to join our team. As a Field Service Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of field service operations, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and delegate field service jobs to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Allocate manpower for field service jobs, update the field service planning board, and coordinate logistics support.
  • Provide technical support to field service personnel, ensure they are briefed prior to job execution, and ensure jobs are coordinated and executed to full customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor costs on the job, take appropriate action, and ensure all job-related expenses are captured and booked into the job.
  • Review field service reports, ensure job-related correspondence is maintained, and assist the field service operations manager as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent with 3-5 years' work experience in a field service admin/coordination role in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and team working skills.
  • Motivation to learn new things, high attention to detail, and strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Reporting and analyzing skills, knowledge of sourcing process, and experience with workplace ICT equipment and applications.
  • Ability to work autonomously, be a proactive team player, and have a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Good command of English.
