Role Overview: We are seeking a Country HR Lead for Australia and New Zealand, located in Sydney, to join our dynamic APAC People team. This position serves as a critical support role during a parental leave coverage.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the primary HR leader collaborating with the ANZ Managing Director and supporting diverse teams across various functions in major cities.
- Work closely with stakeholders to align employee and organizational needs, focusing on design, leadership in change, and talent development.
- Propose, create, and execute new HR initiatives as necessary to facilitate business growth.
- Drive talent and business strategies that align with our long-term objectives, promoting high performance and operational excellence.
- Provide expert advice on complex employee-related issues.
- Serve as an executive coach for key leaders, upholding high standards for leadership behaviors.
- Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Exemplify and promote our core values of kindness, intelligence, and creativity.
- Proven ability to mentor leaders in personal and team development.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Capability to operate independently in a fast-paced and sometimes uncertain environment.
- Familiarity with Snap Inc's products and services.
- Experience in HR leadership development programs or similar initiatives.
- Background in HR within a technology startup or rapidly growing organization.
- Expertise in designing and implementing HR systems and processes.
- Comprehensive knowledge of core HR functions, including performance management and employee relations.
- Experience in advising executive leadership on talent and employment issues.
- Proficiency in people data analytics with the ability to influence decisions through data insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 5 years in an HR Business Partner capacity.
