About the Role

This is a full-time position requiring advanced clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills at an advanced level in Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) nursing.

  • Provide high-level clinical problem solving as a Registered Nurse Level 2.
  • Have expertise in PACU nursing and provide leadership.
  • Manage a portfolio of work related to national quality and health clinical standards for PACU.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with a relevant Australian health regulatory agency.
  • Evidence of advanced clinical knowledge and problem-solving skills at an advanced level in PACU.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in nursing or extensive experience in PACU.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of relevant healthcare standards and guidelines.

Proficiency in using computer applications relevant to the work area, including operating systems, word processing, and clinical information systems.
