Key Responsibilities- Facilitate safe and meaningful family time for children and young people in the Permanency Support Program (Out of Home Care) with their families and significant others.
- Provide mentoring to children and young people in a variety of settings.
- Prepare written updates and reports as required.
- Work collaboratively with a large supportive team to achieve shared goals.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with others.
- Written communication skills, including the ability to write reports and complete formal documentation in relevant software programs.
- Ability to think quickly on your feet and make informed decisions in complex situations.
- Flexibility to work non-standard hours at times when required.
- A current NSW Working with Children's check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
- Unencumbered Australian or NSW driver's license.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement).
- Covid 19 Vaccination.
- A qualification in Human Services, Certificate IV or Diploma in Community Services is highly desirable for this position, although not essential.
- SCHAD's Award Level 2 pay rates based on qualifications and experience.
- Flexible working hours.
