Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Services Operations Specialist to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with colleagues across multiple functional groups, assisting senior associates with client inquiries and delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build understanding of existing mutual fund trading infrastructure and business processes
  • Work autonomously with confidence in a fast-moving, complex technical environment
  • Build relationships with colleagues across multiple functional groups
  • Assist senior associates with client inquiries and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines
  • Ensure all team deliverables are met within assigned deadlines on a daily basis, document and update procedures and team checklists, ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
  • Assist with client reporting and client projects

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • An analytical mindset and strong critical thinking skills
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident and clear communication skills
  • Highly motivated with exceptional integrity

  • $65,000 - $85,000 per annum (depending on experience)
