Our Sydney office is home to the APAC Operations team, responsible for managing the end-to-end operational functions of the APAC Invest & CFD businesses. As part of this team, you will be working closely with staff based in Singapore to ensure seamless integration across locations.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Financial Services Operations Specialist to join our APAC Onboarding & Maintenance team. This role involves timely and accurate processing of non STP new accounts and account maintenance for the CMC Invest businesses, ensuring all accounts are compliant with CMC's Onboarding and AML/KYC policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the new client account opening process, including reviewing non-STP applications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensuring all account documentation meets regulatory requirements, including KYC, AML, and appropriateness checks.
  • Updating client details accurately in relevant systems (back-office, online trading platform).
  • Sharing relevant information regarding client requests with internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining personal/professional development to meet changing demands of the role, including regulatory training.
  • Adhering to CMC policies and procedures as they relate to employment.

Requirements:

  • Scrupulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Experience in an administrative role, ideally within financial services.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of processing to meet service levels.
  • Experience using workflow systems (e.g. Salesforce) preferred.
  • Basic understanding of stockbroking back-office processes advantageous but not essential.

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $55,000 - $65,000 AUD, depending on experience. We offer a competitive remuneration package and opportunities for career growth and development.
