Job Description

As a Cook at our Centre, you will play a crucial role in creating delicious, healthy meals that fuel young minds and bodies. You will be responsible for preparing meals to account for special dietary requirements and allergies, ensuring the safety of children.

You will also use your creativity and organisational skills to plan the menu and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director. Your passion for food and commitment to quality will shape the daily experiences of the children in our care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Ensure the safety of children by preparing meals according to their dietary needs
  • Plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting
  • Current VIC Working with Children Check
