The Timber Category Manager will lead the optimization of timber procurement strategy and supply chain across all Australasian operations.
This strategic position oversees sourcing, negotiation and supplier relationship management for timber and timber-related products.
Success in this role will be measured by driving continuous improvement, cost optimisation and the reliable availability of timber inputs for manufacturing and sales functions.
The role can be based at any of our sites located in various locations.
We seek expertise in timber category with understanding of timber markets, global supply trends and compliance requirements along with strong analytical capability and commercial acumen.
You have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Procurement or equivalent along with Business, Commerce;
- Experience in managing third party carriers, international freight and customs processes;
- A skilled negotiator in securing high-quality materials at competitive prices;
- A proven track record in achieving results in cost and process efficiency;
- A technological aptitude with the ability to leverage data and procurement tools for decision-making;
