Job Overview

The Timber Category Manager is responsible for leading the optimization of timber procurement strategy and supply chain across all Australasian operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive continuous improvement in timber procurement and supply chain efficiency.
  • Oversee sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management for timber and timber-related products.
  • Ensure alignment with market trends, quality, cost-effectiveness, sustainable supply, operational demands, customer needs, and evolving compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
  • Experience in managing third-party carriers, international freight, and customs processes.
  • Skilled negotiator in securing high-quality materials at competitive prices.
  • Proven track record of achieving results in cost and process efficiency.
  • Ability to leverage data and procurement tools for decision-making.
