Production Leadership Role

Our manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead the production shift team safely and efficiently. This role will require someone to provide leadership, coaching, and support the production team to continuously improve operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with safety policies and conducting risk assessments.
  • Champion a quality-first mindset by adhering to industry standards and investigating quality deviations.
  • Oversee packing operations to meet production targets and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through initiatives and problem-solving tools.
  • Coach and support team members, manage performance, conduct reviews, and promote growth aligned with individual aspirations and business needs.
  • Coordinate and execute training plans to maintain skill balance and ensure succession planning.
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet shift and weekly targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Manufacturing, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline are essential.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, quality systems, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in resource planning, performance management, and staff development.
  • Proficiency in using production systems and tools such as SOPs and risk assessment frameworks.
