About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Support Specialist to join our Intensive Bail Initiative team in Mount Isa. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the families of young people on bail through intensive case work, follow-up, and referrals to other specialist services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide holistic, trauma-informed case management and deliver wrap-around support to the families of adolescents who are on bail
  • Identify strengths and establish goals for the young people and their families, and review progress towards these goals
  • Identify where additional assistance and external services are required, and provide appropriate information, support, and referrals
  • Promote skills which increase health, safety, and development
