Business Development Representative for Eye Care Products

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team at Alcon Laboratories (Australia) Pty Ltd Company.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional to drive business growth by managing an assigned customer portfolio, building strong relationships with customers, and executing business plans to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned customer portfolio of up to 400 accounts, leveraging regular remote contact through voice, chat, text, and email to build and negotiate customer business plans.
- Execute business plans and drive achievement of sales targets for assigned customers via remote sales applications.
- Research, review, and evaluate customer information to identify value and potential alignment with country strategy.
- Develop and apply understanding of customer organization and networks to reach key decision makers and influencers, adapting approach and communications style during sales calls to respond appropriately to customer needs.
- Deploy approved marketing and sales promotional materials and programs, utilizing expert knowledge of Alcon and competitor products' features to support sound clinical and business discussions.
- Engage in contract renewals as needed, generate leads on Marlö for Digital teams, record activities in CRM systems according to instructions, and maintain, review, and action performance data to drive performance.
- Work within Integrity and Compliance policies and all other company policies.
Requirements and Qualifications
- 1 year of sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment, with proven target-driven sales experience.
- Multi-channel selling experience, communication skills, ability to build rapport, and adaptability.
- Organisational skills, problem-solving abilities, self-starter attitude, and teamwork orientation.
- Customer focus, ability to read sales data, and interpret trends.
