Bernardi Group is seeking a highly motivated and organized Department Champion to join our team. As a Department Champion, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of your assigned department, ensuring high standards of visual presentation and store standards to maximize sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute promotions and marketing plans to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Manage inventory, including stocktaking and ordering, to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Provide outstanding customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
  • Assist the Assistant Store Manager with profit and loss management, including sales, gross profit, and shrinkage budgets/targets
  • Participate in department audits and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of inventory management systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; retail management certification or experience preferred
