Economics Lead role in a specialist consultancy firm with flexible working arrangements.

A medium sized team of high performing professionals across the disciplines of economics, finance, market research and visual communications provide evidence-based solutions, insight, advice and creativity that sustainably shape the future of the communities, cities, and regions in which we live and work.

The team works across various sectors including Energy & Infrastructure, Local Government, Natural Resources & Agriculture, Property, Natural Resources & Climate Change, Social & Community Services and Tourism.

The work completed typically includes economic and financial analysis across:

  • Business case writing to support investment
  • Operational optimisation for purchases
  • Assessment of major projects and infrastructure (airports, property, mines, dams, rail, roads, tourism, agriculture and regional investment)
  • Demand and other economic analyses to support the above
The Role

We are looking for an ambitious and diligent Economics Lead to drive revenue generation and grow market share. The role will balance client interaction, business development, revenue generation, project management/delivery, and potentially creating a team beneath you.

About You

The Economics Lead would suit a motivated individual with exceptional networking and relationship-building skills. You will hold degree level qualifications in Economics, Business, Commerce or related field. Ideally you will have experience leading revenue generation activities and a network of clients with positive relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients to understand needs and deliver economics-related solutions
  • Lead revenue generation activities and contribute to business development
  • Manage projects and ensure timely delivery and quality of outputs
  • Collaborate with senior team members and potentially build and lead a team
Requirements
  • Degree level qualifications in Economics, Business, Commerce or related field
  • Experience in revenue generation activities and client relationship management (preferred)
