Job Description

As a Home Support Specialist, you will provide personalized assistance to our clients in their homes. You will be required to travel to support multiple clients each day, with travel costs reimbursed.

This is a casual opportunity with working hours available between 7am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. There is some flexibility for hours to be within school hours. The role provides domestic assistance only, with a view to providing further services in future, including personal care and community supports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Domestic assistance such as light cleaning and housework
  • Assist clients to improve their independence according to their identified needs and goals
  • Establish a rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and their family
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Disability or similar)
  • QLD Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • Excellent organisational skills, hygiene practices and problem-solving abilities
  • An Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships
  • A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
