Our client is a leading manufacturer in the chemical industry, specializing in formulation and packaging.

The production site involves production fill lines, machine operation, batching, blending of chemicals, packaging, and storage solutions.

This role requires an experienced Chemical Blending / Batch Operator to join the team and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Mixing specified chemicals, liquids, and granules that are QC approved
- Pumping products from mixing tanks to storage IBCs
- Preparing plant and equipment according to SOPs to formulate
- Carrying out formulation as per job sheets
- Assembling packaging and labels prior to batches being made
- Ensuring regular maintenance where appropriate
- Following all Standard Operating Procedures as required

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a chemical manufacturing environment or within chemical handling
- Current LF Licence
- Physical fitness for heavy lifting (up to 25kg)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely with your team and management
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level accuracy and attention to detail
- Troubleshooting formulation and equipment issues

This role involves working in a dusty/dirty environment, requiring eye protection, face masks, gloves, and long sleeve clothing.
