Role Overview:

We are seeking a Chemical Formulator/Batch Operator to join our production team. As a key member, you will be responsible for blending and packaging chemicals in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mix raw materials of specified chemicals, liquids & granules
  • Pump products from mixing tanks to storage IBC's
  • Ensure efficient workflow throughout the factory
  • Assemble packaging and labels prior to batches being made
  • Follow batch sheet instructions
  • Ensure work area is tidy at the end of each day and week and equipment is cleaned after use
  • Follow all standard operating procedures as required

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work unsupervised and use initiative
  • Physically fit for heavy lifting (up to 25kg)
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or chemical handling experience an advantage but not essential
  • Flexibility to do day shift training if interested in nightshift
  • Current LF Licence an advantage but not essential
