Animal Care Team Lead
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced team lead to manage our Animal Care Facility team. As an Animal Care Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising a dynamic team of animal care professionals, ensuring the highest standard of animal welfare and care.
Your leadership skills will be put to the test as you guide your team in providing exceptional customer service to the community. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about companion animal care and management, with relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive job-related experience.
You will need to have excellent conflict resolution skills, the ability to handle difficult situations, and a proven track record of proactively resolving problems while achieving a positive outcome for all stakeholders.
The successful candidate will possess well-developed skills in Microsoft Office Applications, computer literacy, sound organisational and time management skills, and the ability to work in a team environment. You will also need to be available to work weekends and public holidays on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of animal care professionals
- Ensure the highest standard of animal welfare and care
- Provide exceptional customer service to the community
- Manage conflicts and difficult situations
- Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve goals and objectives
Requirements:
- Degree in Animal Science or related field
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive job-related experience
- Excellent conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays
