Heavy Fabrication Specialist

The position of a Heavy Fabrication Specialist is available in our workshop. The successful applicant will be responsible for interpreting workshop drawings to determine the required material, production method, and sequence of operations needed to produce fabricated parts within quality requirements.

  • This requires careful planning and organization, as well as effective time management skills to meet deadlines.

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent problem-solving abilities and be skilled in operating equipment used in fabrication.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication trade - Boilermaker (or equivalent)
  • Considerable experience in MIG welding
  • Experience with stainless steel is advantageous
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Current and valid driver's license
  • Forklift, dogman (DG) and/or high-risk work licenses are an asset
