About the RoleAs a laser cutter operator, you'll be hands-on with our Amada machine, ensuring every cut is accurate, efficient, and high-quality. From setup and programming through to quality control and routine maintenance, you'll help keep our fabrication workflow running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate, monitor, and maintain our Amada Laser Cutter.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings with precision.
- Load and unload sheet steel safely and accurately.
- Carry out quality control checks on finished products.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Work independently while collaborating with a supportive workshop team.
- Previous experience with CNC machinery (laser cutting experience highly regarded).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements.
- Positive, self-motivated attitude with strong teamwork skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and tidy work practices.
- Physical strength and dexterity to manage steel sheets.
