As a seasoned engineering professional, you will play a pivotal role in executing and maintaining the end-to-end lifecycle of engineering standards. This includes documentation, communication, and technical enforcement to ensure consistent, efficient, and compliant engineering practices across the organization.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and uplift engineering standards and frameworks. You will be responsible for operating and evolving central repositories for standards, approved technologies, and related documentation.

A key aspect of this role is coordinating regular content for internal communications channels to ensure visibility and understanding of standards and changes across the organization. Additionally, you will support technology radar and RFC processes, enabling engineers to propose, review, and adopt new technologies and practices.

Responsibilities include tracking adoption and effectiveness of standards, identifying opportunities for improvement and enhanced assurance. The ideal candidate will also provide technical guidance in engineering governance activities, particularly around process lifecycle management and integration with existing systems and processes.

  • Strong technology background with an understanding of engineering principles, standards, and best practices
  • Proactivity, detail-oriented mindset, and ability to take ownership of initiatives from conception to operationalisation and iteration
  • Able to foster a culture of continuous improvement and drive change
  • Experience working with Agile ways of working, including tooling such as Jira and Confluence
  • Demonstrated risk and cost management mindset
