We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Expert to lead our Corporate Advisory team in Sydney. As a key member of our high-performing team, you will be responsible for managing client engagements, building relationships, and driving business growth.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in corporate tax and advisory, with experience working with financial services clients. You will be a strategic thinker, able to identify growth opportunities and develop innovative solutions to meet client needs.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage overall client engagement including relationship management, tax compliance and advisory
  • Build client relationships and identify growth opportunities in our clients
  • Involvement in business development opportunities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in tax compliance and process-based activities
  • Provide coaching, support and inspirational leadership to other team members
Required skills and qualifications
  • University degree in a related discipline, such as Accounting / Finance, Business / Commerce, Legal and / or relevant professional qualification(s)
  • CA / CPA, CTA or other relevant industry accreditation(s)
  • Demonstrated experience and technical skills in corporate tax and advisory (ideally in a public practice environment) working with clients in the financial services sector
  • Proactive approach to client relationships and cross-selling of services, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Previous experience leading, coaching and mentoring less experienced team members
