About The Role
With multiple offices throughout Tasmania, our client is dedicated to providing tailored services that cater to the distinct requirements of their clients while utilizing advanced technology. As a Civil Engineer, you will be instrumental in promoting the development of the state. This firm, recognized for its top-tier services, seeks a committed engineer to assist in advancing their expanding project portfolio.
Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of civil infrastructure initiatives across Tasmania, including leading engineering designs, creating detailed drawings, and overseeing contract documentation. Collaborating closely with the team, you will be vital to the success of projects, from proposal preparation to design and oversight, covering areas such as roads, highways, subdivisions, and drainage systems.
About You
This position is well-suited for an experienced Civil Engineer who excels in a dynamic environment and is keen to make a significant contribution. Ideally, you will have experience in stormwater modeling and be proficient in utilizing various design software.
To Be Considered, You Will
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Have at least 3 years of relevant experience in civil and/or hydraulic design
- Be skilled in Civil Site Designs, DRAINS, or similar software
- Have a comprehensive understanding of Austroads and local/service authority design standards
- Be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills
