Randstad is partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit a skilled Structural Engineer based in Launceston.

About the Company

Our client has a long history of success, with over 50 years of experience in Engineering Consultancy. They specialise in Structural, Civil & Hydraulic disciplines, and have a strong reputation in the industry.

Due to an increase in work demands, we are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their team.

About the Opportunity

As a Structural Engineer, you will be involved in projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery. You will undertake and assist with design, documentation, and site supervision for various reinforced, post-tensioned, and pre-cast concrete, masonry, steel, and timber structures.

You will apply Structural Engineering concepts, completing designs with high-level documentation, and have experience using ETABS & or SpaceGas.

This role will see you working on a variety of projects, including private developments, commercial projects, and local government initiatives.

About You

This role is ideal for an experienced Structural Engineer with a strong background in overseeing projects from start to finish and undertaking design work and documentation.

To be considered for the role, you must;

  • Hold a Bachelor Degree of Civil Engineering
  • Hold or be eligible for CPEng with Engineers Australia
  • Have a minimum of 5 years experience post-qualification working in a similar position
  • Have strong design and documentation skills
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills
