Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our business, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability.

  • Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing workflow, resource allocation, and operational processes to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management

Oversee the daily operations of the business, ensuring efficiency in workflow, resource allocation, and productivity.

Team Leadership

Manage, motivate, and lead a team of auto electricians, mechanics, and support staff to achieve business goals and maintain high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.

Financial Oversight

Manage budgets, expenses, and financial reporting to ensure profitability, including monitoring KPIs and cost-control initiatives.

Client and Supplier Relationships

Maintain and enhance relationships with clients and suppliers, ensuring high service standards and negotiation of favorable terms where necessary.

Process Improvement

Continuously assess and improve operational processes, introducing new technologies or methodologies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Compliance and Safety

Ensure that all operations adhere to industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.

Strategic Planning

Work with the leadership team to develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, including expanding services, exploring new markets, and managing operational risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in business operations or management, preferably within the automotive or related industries.

Leadership Skills

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.

Financial Acumen

Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Communication Skills

Problem-Solving Skills

Ability to analyze operational processes and implement improvements.

Industry Knowledge

Knowledge of heavy vehicle auto electrical and mechanical systems or the heavy automotive industry as a whole is an advantage but not required.

Software Proficiency

Proficiency in relevant software and tools for operations management.
