We are seeking a skilled and experienced workshop professional to lead our daily operations.
Main Responsibilities:- Oversee workflow, ensuring efficient performance and achievement of objectives.
- Plan, prioritize, and coordinate repair jobs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Lead and mentor technicians with ongoing training and support, ensuring high-quality output.
- Monitor equipment maintenance, including spare parts inventory management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers for spare parts and order management.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to set reporting programs that assist with audits and compliance activity.
- Implement and uphold safety standards, conducting regular risk assessments and incident reporting.
- 3-5 years of experience in MHE fleet maintenance, workshop management, or a related field.
- Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter or advisor is essential.
- Trade qualification in heavy mechanical maintenance (required).
- Strong expertise in maintenance planning, cost control, and compliance.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a positive approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management software.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MHE and heavy machinery maintenance, with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and service providers to ensure our fleet is well-maintained, compliant, and operating at peak efficiency.
