Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced National Program Controls Manager to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for streamlining and standardizing project controls methods across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement consistent and highly effective national program controls processes that align with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand current program control methodologies/ operational needs and engage with key clients and external stakeholders to define and address program controls requirements.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of program controls methods that align with industry best standards and ensure the consistency of program controls processes to deliver excellence in managing project/program performance.
  • Build and nurture program controls capabilities within the business by developing training programs and mentoring project controls teams.
  • Oversee the successful execution of program controls processes to ensure that programs of work are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
  • Involvement in program/project audit cycle to achieve continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in program controls within the utilities sector - ideally water utilities programs of work.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications preferred (not essential), preferably in a construction, business, management or engineering discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of program controls best practices, industry standards, and methodologies.
  • Experience in developing and implementing program controls processes across programs of work.
  • Experience in cost engineering, planning, scheduling, estimating and risk management.
  • Ability to collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to successfully deliver quality results.
