Job Description:

The Rural Generalist Nurse Practitioner plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to rural communities. As part of the newly established Single Point of Care team, this role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support access and delivery of care to patients requiring acute, outpatient, and community-based care.

This position requires a nurse practitioner with a passion for rural healthcare, who can demonstrate exceptional clinical communication skills through the use of information technology, written, and verbal means. They should possess sound interpersonal skills, enabling them to interact with others in a personable and professional manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Ability to work independently and in the absence of a medical practitioner to provide quality care.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrated exceptional clinical communication skills.
