Opportunity for Rural Generalist O&G Practice

  • This is an excellent opportunity for senior registrars with an interest in rural generalist obstetrics and gynaecology practice.

  • The position comprises a variety of clinical experiences including at least 4 theatre lists per week, labour ward experience locally, theatre lists with a visiting sub-specialist in gynae-oncology, gynaecology clinics following through your own patients, colposcopy and outpatient laser procedures.

Training Opportunities

This is a training position with committed consultant mentors looking to assist registrars develop true generalist skills, with a view to ongoing regional/rural practice.

Key Requirements

  • Ambitious and enthusiastic individuals with the necessary qualifications and experience are encouraged to apply.

  • Applicants must possess a degree in medicine or equivalent, be registered with the Australian Health Practitioners Board of Australia (AHPRA) and have relevant healthcare experience.

  • Demonstrated experience and skills in medical assessment and clinical management are essential for this role.

Vaccination Requirements

All staff employed in the healthcare sector are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and influenza (unless a valid exemption applies).
