Job Title: Senior Manager, Planning Approvals and Environment

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our planning approvals and environmental efforts. As a senior manager, you will be responsible for delivering specialized planning, environmental assessments, and post-approval services that comply with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance and hands-on support in preparing environmental assessments and planning approvals across relevant jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with the delivery team to integrate environmental and planning requirements into construction workflows.
  • Monitor and report on risks, approvals progress, compliance metrics, and adherence to approval conditions and project milestones.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in major civil infrastructure projects, with a proven track record in securing approvals and delivering environmental management services.
  2. Tertiary qualifications in planning, environmental science, natural resources, environmental engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  3. Strong expertise in planning approvals, environmental assessments, and compliance, with comprehensive knowledge of legislation in at least one of NSW, VIC, or QLD.
