Job Overview

We are seeking an Environmental Specialist to join our Environment and Planning team in Melbourne.

  • Provide expertise on Australia's largest energy, renewables, and infrastructure projects.
  • Optimise approval pathways for new developments.
  • Conduct comprehensive environmental assessments.
  • Represent clients in planning appeals and panel hearings.
  • Develop biodiversity offset strategies.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies for environmental licensing.
  • Coordinate secondary approvals and neighbour agreements.
  • Respond to environmental incidents.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified professional with 3-6 years of experience in environment and planning. Key skills include:

  • Strong interest in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-performing team.
